The Rain Jacket That Beats the 7-Eleven Poncho Every Time

July 9, 2026

There’s a specific kind of dread that hits when you’re already on the bike and the sky opens up. The instinct is to duck into the nearest 7-Eleven and grab one of those thin plastic ponchos — and it works, technically, for about fifteen minutes before it’s shredded at highway speed or soaked through at the seams.

I’ve been riding in an older version of Quechua’s MH100 for years now, and it’s the jacket that finally made me stop keeping a poncho in the seat compartment as backup. It’s genuinely waterproof, not just water-resistant, cuts wind properly at speed, and — unlike most rain gear — doesn’t look like safety equipment. You can wear it off the bike without feeling like you’re still wearing a tarp.

Comes in beige, black, dark blue, and grey. Decathlon Thailand carries the current version — check the page for exact pricing and size availability.
